After taking a four and a half year break from college I find myself back on the same campus. It has been a long adventure in between. I went to cosmetology school and became a Licensed Cosmetologist and a Certified Makeup Artist. I was also able to work as an events specialist for over two years for a booking agency in Salt Lake City, Utah. This introduced me to a whole new world of communication and between these two things I decided to grow even more I needed to finish my degree at BYU-Idaho. Since being back I have been able to be a part of so many things and wonderful things. I was able to work with Bill Cosby for four days and I also got to share the stage with him. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it was something I never dreamed of being able to do. I have been able to use the skill sets I have developed over the years to help on the Board of Center Stage to advertise, promote, and to brainstorm new ideas. I also have been able to do the other thing I love to do... hair. I was able to be part of the design team for Mikado an opera the theatre department put on. I designed wigs and helped instruct the chorus on how to do their own hair. I love the opportunities I have to continue learning and growing.
